VYNUT, what a wonderful dog!

Update 31st October:
We went to the veterinarian and he needs further treatment against leishmania. We cut his nails and since he showed much fear, 3 persons had to hold him. He recognised Miriam and Mar and we could see he was happy.
When people ring the door he starts barking loudly now and we want to correct this behaviour. When we go for walks and leave him at a certain distance he gets very afraid we would leave him. He always wants closness and love. Every day is a present for us, he is a wonderful dog! We send fotos...

Update 23. September: This tells the foster home "One day we took him to the beach and he followed us everywhere. Applying him a leash did not make sense since he wanted to be around as all the time and still cannot run a lot anyway. He loves to receive tenderness and lay down at our side. If anyone would see him he would fall in love with him instantly wishing it would be his dog. He was sniffing around at the beach and showed respect towards the ocean. Please enjoy the pictures"

Update 12. August: Vynut seems to be a different dog: much prettier than before! He has a lot more fur and his scabs have fallen off. He listens and behaves very well being taken for walks. At the veterinarian Miriam said, he is well but he still has to take his medicine against leishmaniosis. His foster home reports that he is conducting ideal and that due to her care his wounds have healed a lot. Every day he becomes more and more cosy with the people and more content. One day when a boy called his little kitten, Vynut run to him begging for strokes..

Update 10 th. July: article in ideal.es concerning Vynut.

Update 7 th.July: Vynt aborbed our move easily and loves to go for little walks along the paveway. He is very clean in the house and even though he still hobbles due to the pain in his one paw, he makes all efforts to walk outside. From time to time he would listen to us, but not very often. However, we do not want to pressure him yet but sometimes we have to ubpraid him when he throws himself on the floor wowing loudly. He loves the neighboor´s dog Puma and wants to ly his paw on her back but she would not led him.. He is afraid of cats!! Yesterday quite many joined together at our front door and he did not move until I scared them away. The people from the clinic explained he consideres the street as the cats territory. He is a little crybaby but we love him a lot. During the walks he rests every once in a while but he loves the fresh air. His wounds are healing now day by day and already became smaller.

Update 27 of June: part of his crust of the wound at his ellbow has fallen of. The worst wound is healing slowly. Each time I touch him there to treat his wound he starts whimmering - a sign that he is regaining sensibility.

Update 20 of June: Vynut feels good, he is recovering slowly but day by day. He is very thankful for the help received... One day he stole a piece of cheece out of the garbage can. I used to give him a little piece after having treated his wounds. Now I have to close the can properly :-) The worst wound got infected and I asked the clinic for advice. They asked me to pick up some medicine, nothing worse has happened. I send you some fotos: from the balkony where he loves to hide when I want to put on his spray, and his sleeping place- his favourite spot!

Update 16th of June: He feels a lot better although he moves very slowley and is hobbling. He leds us touch his wounds and we can spray on medicine, he loves it. He is very cuddly and when he sees us he starts moving his tail a lot more intense than before so that his whole back body starts shaking. His wounds are healing step by step and his face becomes prettier day by day.

Update 14th June: his fosterhome says that: "I can heal perfectly his injuries. He leaves me to do all! Thanks to the relaxation with a lot of caress and shiatsu music, I can touch the big injurie without problem.

Update 11st June:  Vynut had gone out of the clinic today. He didn't need more the total attention and care of  the veterinarian, and it was important that he went to a house.  He has a lot of fear to go to the street and the girls who took him cried and they got exasperated while they tried to pick up him and left in the house. This behaviour is normal after all his sofference, and slowly he will beat all. You can see more picture in his card. We wish give you good news very soon, with his phisical and psychological recovered. Thank you very much all.

Update 9th June: Vynut has the energy of dinosaur in his veins. We can see his improvement slowly: he has more hair, his loos is everyday more intense, he starts to be angry with other dogs... yes, yes, he doesn't like to be with other dogs. He growls and barks with his special voice to the dogs that are near his box. He is yet in Clinica Campanilla, but the door of his box is opened and Vynut can go everywhere in the clinic. He makes his "things" in the farest place of his bed. If there are a lot of people in the clinic, he goes to his bed to rest. His improvement is a encouragement for us, for continuing to fight for him and for other animals. Next Monday 11st June he will go with his fosterhome Natalia. She has gone everyday to the Clinic to visit him. Thank you Natalia! He will have to take pi lls and the fosterhome must clean the injuries but Vynut doesn't need more special treatment. With your donations we can pay the cost of him. Thank you very much, you can not donate more money for him because we have enough. We can thank all people who have helped him. And thank to Mar and Miriam from Campanilla Clinic in Granada, who have had a wonderful performance with us and specially with Vynut. Thanks of them we are very proud of our Vynut........... of YOUR Vynut forever.

Update 5th June:  he is better each day. He walks in the clinic. He doesn't walk very well but he runs when the veterinarian wants to give hime the pills. He eats a lot and he has more energy.  The liver is a bit touched but it's because the anemy. But he will go better. At the moment he is taking alopurinol for leishmaniosis. He has 500mg more than 1 week ago. It's very important and we are very happy.

Update 2nd June: he is positiv leishmaniosis but negativ to ticks illness. Ok kidneys but a bit liver out of control. He has anemy and low defenses. Vynut continues his fight, he has a lot of force. Thank you very much for your money for recovering him.

---------

This dog has been found by a volunteer in the middle of the road near Granada. People passed around him with the cars but nobody stopped to take him. He has sores with ulcers in his body. He has a lot of ticks, and he has injuries.

He has infections, problems in his paws, he has denutrition, he has a knock in the left of his face, the eye is in bad conditions, he has probably leishmaniosis. He can't walk because he has a lot of pain.

We think that he must come to Granada and visit our veterinary. She will see if the has damage inside. He will be in recovet at the vet. If he must to be at home, we haven't more houses for him. So, we need help for advertising, for money and more importan it's to find a fosterhome.

Have we some house for him? Can someone take him until his recovery?

He is more or less 7 years old. We will see more when he will go to the veterinary.
